How much does clinic software cost in Alberta?

Qlynic is $89 per doctor per month, or $69 on annual billing, in Canadian dollars. There is no base fee, no setup fee, no contract and no per-claim charge.

Is there a per-claim fee for AHCIP billing?

No. Arxeon is an accredited H-Link submitter, so claims go from Qlynic to Alberta Health directly. There is no billing gateway in the middle taking a percentage of your assessment, and no charge per claim, per reconciliation or per rejection. You bill what you bill and you keep it.

What happens if I go over the included monthly credits?

Each doctor comes with 800 SMS, 3,000 emails, 3M AI units, 150 OCR pages and 400 telehealth minutes a month. They refresh on the first and don’t roll over. If you pass one, the extra is metered at the posted rate and billed afterwards — no tier jump, and nothing is switched off mid-month.

Qlynic also caps spend automatically. If an automation misfires at three in the morning, it stops itself before it becomes a bill you have to argue about.

Can I cancel, and do I get a refund?

You can cancel any time from inside the app — no phone call, no retention conversation. Your access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not billed again. Fees already paid are not prorated back. Your data is yours to export on the way out.

Do I pay extra for staff logins, patients or locations?

No. Staff logins scale with your doctors, patient records are unlimited, and your first three branches are included. Only a fourth location onward is $20 a month each.

What are the four add-ons, and are any of them required?

None are required. The pharmacy ecosystem, multi-branch beyond three locations, the REST API and webhooks, and the AI Scribe. Every one is priced on this page, every one is optional, and the core product — records, booking, billing, reminders, intake forms, prescribing, reviews, the patient portal and telehealth — never depends on any of them.

Do you charge less in lower-income countries?

Yes. Qlynic uses four regional bands based on the World Bank income classification. Clinics in upper-middle-income countries pay 25% less per doctor, lower-middle-income 45% less, and low-income countries 60% less. The discount is applied automatically at checkout from your clinic's registered country — there is no code to hunt for and no negotiation.

Included monthly credits scale with the same fraction: if you pay 55% of list, you receive 55% of the standard SMS, email, AI, OCR and telehealth allowance. That is what lets us discount this deeply without cutting the product. Add-ons are priced the same everywhere, because their underlying costs are the same everywhere.
