Emergencies and medical questions
No — in an emergency call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department; Qlynic is clinic software, not a clinician, and neither this assistant nor the patient portal or messaging can be used for medical advice or emergencies; for questions about your own care, contact your clinic.

In an emergency
Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not use this chat, the patient portal, clinic text messaging or email for anything urgent.
Medical questions
I cannot answer questions about symptoms, diagnoses, medications or doses — I am an assistant for the Qlynic website, not a clinician, and Qlynic itself does not practise medicine or give medical advice. Your clinic or your pharmacist is the right place for those questions; the manage link in your appointment email or your clinic's patient portal is how to reach them about a booking.
Why the product is built this way
The Terms say the platform must not be used for medical emergencies, that AI features only draft and never replace a clinician's judgment, and that clinicians review and remain responsible for all clinical content. The clinic's own SMS assistant is a booking assistant: it matches emergency wording before any model is called and replies to call 911, it never generates dosing advice, and every outgoing message is scanned so invented safety text is removed.
