The Terms of Service, in short

Accounts for people 18+ operating under a licensed health professional or organization; Qlynic is software that never diagnoses or replaces clinical judgment and is not for emergencies; per-doctor subscriptions renew until cancelled with taxes added where required; acceptable use forbids scraping, reverse engineering, circumventing limits or building a competing product from outputs; liability is capped at the fees paid in the previous 12 months; Alberta law and Calgary courts govern; material changes get 30 days' notice; and if documents conflict the Subscriber Agreement, then the AHCIP Billing Terms, then the Terms prevail.

Who, and what it is

You must be at least 18 and, for a clinic account, operate under an appropriately licensed health professional or organization. The clinic is responsible for its authorized users. Qlynic is an administrative and clinical-workflow tool: Arxeon does not practise medicine, AI features produce drafts a clinician must review, and the platform — including the patient portal and messaging — must not be used for emergencies.

Money

Fees are per active doctor, monthly or annual, plus optional add-ons, exclusive of taxes; subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancel any time and access runs to the end of the paid period; fee changes take 30 days' notice and apply at the next renewal; credits refresh monthly and overage is billed in arrears.

Acceptable use

No unlawful use or access to health information without authority; no malicious code or security testing without written consent; no circumventing metering, seat limits, authentication, rate limits or opt-outs; no scraping or automated access outside the documented API; no reverse engineering; no reselling as a service bureau; no spam; and no using platform output to build a competing product.

Liability and disputes

Each party's total liability is capped at what the clinic paid in the 12 months before the first event (CAD $100 for users without a paid subscription); neither side is liable for indirect losses; fraud and wilful misconduct are never excluded. Alberta law governs, the courts of Alberta sitting in Calgary have exclusive jurisdiction, and the parties talk in good faith for 30 days before proceedings.

Housekeeping

Support is by email during Arxeon's business hours and through in-app resources. Neither party names the other publicly without consent. Material changes to the Terms are announced at least 30 days ahead, and the "last updated" date changes only when the document does. Order of precedence: Subscriber Agreement (Schedule A first), AHCIP Billing Terms, Terms of Service, other policies.

This is a summary for convenience, not legal advice; the full text governs.
