Enabling AHCIP direct billing
During setup (or later from Settings) an Alberta clinic enters its clinic or facility name, AHCIP billing provider number and optional facility number, confirms it operates in Alberta and accepts the AHCIP third-party billing terms; Arxeon verifies the clinic and confirms within one business day, and H-Link billing unlocks on approval.

Where
Step 2 of clinic setup, or any time afterwards from Settings once the clinic is live. Skipping it at setup costs nothing.
What you enter
- Alberta clinic or facility name
- AHCIP billing provider number
- Facility number (optional)
- A confirmation that the clinic operates in Alberta, Canada
- Acceptance of the AHCIP third-party billing terms
What happens next
Arxeon verifies the clinic before billing goes live and confirms within one business day. H-Link billing unlocks on approval, and claims are submitted under Arxeon's accredited submitter prefix.
Keeping it right afterwards
The clinic maintains valid participation in AHCIP and keeps its identifiers current in the platform — practitioner identifiers (PRACID), business arrangement (BA) numbers and facility numbers — and tells Arxeon promptly when something changes: a practitioner joining or leaving, a BA change, or an Alberta Health notice about the clinic's claims.
Outside Alberta
You can still create an account and use everything else in Qlynic. AHCIP direct billing needs a verified Alberta clinic.
