If you are a patient
Your clinic is the custodian of your health record and the place to go for appointments, results, prescriptions and corrections; Qlynic is the system your clinic uses and cannot look into or change your record for you — if you write to Qlynic directly about your records the request is referred to your clinic within five business days — and you can decline the AI scribe at any visit.

Who to ask
- Appointments, results, prescriptions, referrals: your clinic. Use the manage link in your confirmation email to reschedule or cancel, or the patient portal your clinic gave you.
- Access to or correction of your health records: your clinic, as the custodian under Alberta's Health Information Act. If Qlynic receives your request directly, it is referred to your clinic within five business days and Qlynic assists the clinic in responding.
- Personal information Qlynic holds about you as a website visitor or account holder: the Privacy Officer at privacy@qlynic.com.
I cannot see any clinic's calendar or records, and I cannot give medical advice. In an emergency call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Your choices
- You may decline AI-assisted transcription (the ambient scribe) at any visit, and the Privacy Policy says you may ask your clinic to set a permanent do-not-record preference on your record.
- Reply STOP to any clinic text to end texts from that clinic; every email has an unsubscribe.
- Health information is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models.
