Getting started

Accounts, setup, walkthroughs and moving in.

  1. Live Booking a walkthrough How do I book a demo or walkthrough of Qlynic? Book a walkthrough from the Support page: pick the product areas you want shown (each with its minutes), your clinic size and a preferred window, and the agenda you build is what is sent, logged with a reference, and emailed back to you.
  2. Live Setup and going live What happens in clinic setup after I register? Setup is three steps — practice profile, optional AHCIP verification, and seats & payment through Stripe checkout — and accepting the Subscriber Agreement activates the clinic.
  3. Live Creating a clinic account How do I sign up and create a clinic account? Sign-up is four steps on the Register page — account, clinic details, a 6-digit email verification code, welcome — with no card required; the clinic then goes live by completing setup and a subscription.
  4. Illustrative Your first day on Qlynic How long does it take to get started, and what does day one look like? Most clinics run their first real morning within days of saying yes — the homepage's day-one console is an illustration of loading a patient list, inviting staff, arming reminders and taking the first booking; the walkthrough doubles as the setup conversation, and the actual steps, timing, supported formats and any fees are confirmed in writing for your clinic.
  5. Live When the clinic's internet goes down What happens if my clinic's internet goes down? Reminders, messages and confirmations run from Qlynic's Canadian servers rather than your front desk, so they keep flowing; staff need a connection to use the clinical application — there is no offline mode — and a phone hotspot is a fallback until the router recovers, where your clinic's own policy allows it.
  6. Live Trials, cards and trying it out Is there a free trial? There is no free trial period; creating the account is free and needs no card, the clinic activates with a subscription you can cancel at any time, and a walkthrough on a simulated clinic — then on your own numbers — is the way to try it first.
  7. Live Nothing to install Do my patients or staff need to install an app? No app — booking, intake forms, the patient portal and video visits run in the browser from a link; the first time a patient books they confirm their phone by text and that becomes their account, and after that it is one tap. A modern browser, a verified phone and the visit consent are still needed.
  8. Live Signing in, passwords and lockouts I can't sign in — what should I do? Clinic staff sign in on the Login page and can reset a forgotten password from there; five wrong passwords lock the account for five minutes and fifteen failures from one address in ten minutes block that address for fifteen, every failure gets the same "Invalid login attempt." message on purpose, a disabled member is refused on their next click, and patients sign in through the patient portal with a verified phone rather than on the clinic login page.
  9. Live Moving from another EMR Can I move to Qlynic from PS Suite, Med Access, Oscar, Accuro or another EMR? Yes — patient demographics, appointment history, allergies, medications and problem lists come across from an export of your current system, Qlynic does the mapping, both systems run side by side until you pick the cutover day, and the Switching EMR page walks through the retention rule, the export questions and the cutover order; a full clinical-record migration needs an explicit written plan, and steps, timing, formats and any fees are confirmed in writing.
  10. Live What Qlynic is What is Qlynic? Qlynic is a clinic EMR built in Calgary by Arxeon Inc. that runs the clinical side (charting, coded prescribing, allergy cross-checks, requisitions, AHCIP claims over H-Link) and the operational side (booking, reminders, payments, reviews, payroll) on one patient record, hosted in Canada, for $89 per doctor per month.
  11. Live Who Qlynic is for Who is Qlynic built for? Qlynic is for clinics — from a single doctor to a multi-doctor practice — and it is built Alberta-first, with AHCIP billing live for Alberta clinics and regional pricing for clinics elsewhere. It is a professional tool for clinics, not a patient app.
