Services, durations and prices per doctor
A service belongs to a doctor, not the clinic: its name, duration (5–480 minutes), base price, payment mode (paid in full, deposit or insurance), discount or promotion, Alberta SOMB service code, branch scope and intake form are set once on the doctor, and the booking page, the calendar and the invoice change together.

What one service carries
- Identity — name, category, a description patients see, an icon or photo.
- Time — duration in five-minute steps; leave it blank and the visit takes the doctor's own default slot length.
- Money — base price in the clinic's currency; payment mode; the deposit actually charged at booking; a flat or percentage discount (set both and the percentage wins); a promotion with start and end dates.
- Alberta — an insurance-coverable toggle (on, no card charge is created at booking and the visit is billed to Alberta Health instead) and the usual SOMB service code, which can still be changed per visit on the encounter.
- Scope — every branch the doctor works at, or one; featured; active.
Per doctor, not per clinic
Two doctors in the same building can charge differently for the same twenty minutes and neither has to ask permission. Hours, appointment lengths, gaps between patients, services and prices all belong to the doctor.
Branch overrides
A service follows its doctor to every branch. When one location needs something different — a longer slot, another price — you override that branch alone; an override restricts, it never adds a branch the doctor doesn't work at.
Describe the form in one sentence and the questions are drafted for you (one credit), then shown on every booking, first visit only, or when the reason matches keywords — and marked enforced, the booking cannot complete without it.
